Northern Hills Business and Tax Service provides bookkeeping, payroll, advisory, and Tax service to our clients. We effectively serve both local and remote clients. Northern Hills Business and Tax Service serves a wide range of services industries, but our staff has special expertise in agriculture, trucking, and construction. Our staff works diligently to provide a personal, value added service to each of our customers. We share our knowledge and work closely as a team to assure that all of our clients receive the dedication and attention that they deserve. We hold our staff to a high standard of professional conduct. Our Staff
Jamie Thybo- Owner, Tax Preparer and Bookkeeping Staff Member
Jamie became the owner of Northern Hills Business and Tax Service October 1st, 2021 after several years of being a trusted employee. Jamie has a rural background, having been raised on a cattle ranch in Harding County, South Dakota. While in high school she was part of the basketball, volleyball, and rodeo teams as well as several other activities and clubs. Jamie is a graduate of Black Hills State University with a double major in Professional Accountancy and Business Management. While attending college, Jamie was an active member of the BH Rodeo team holding several offices and taking part in many community events. Jamie is proud to have placed in the top 10 of the nation in the goat tying while she was competing for the Yellowjackets.
When not in the office Jamie helps her husband on the cow/calf ranch he manages near Reva, SD. Thanks to a great office staff, Jamie works remotely most of the time, but is always available for phone consultations and by appointment at the office.
